How we source, test and sell our hemp products.
EU cultivar compliance
Every hemp variety we stock is derived from cultivars listed on the EU Common Catalogue of agricultural plant varieties. THC content is verified independently on every batch to confirm it is within the 0.2% threshold, rather than taken on a supplier's word.
Independent lab testing
Every batch is sent to an accredited, independent laboratory before it goes on sale. Testing covers:
- Cannabinoid profile, confirming THC below 0.2%
- Heavy metals: lead, cadmium, arsenic and mercury
- Residual pesticides and herbicides
- Microbial contamination: yeast, mould, E. coli and Salmonella
- Moisture content
If a product does not have a current report, it is not listed. For a copy of a batch report, email support@calmleaf.co.uk.
How our products are sold
- Hemp flower is sold as hemp tea, a botanical product for infusion. It is not intended for smoking.
- Solid extracts are sold as aromatic collectables. They are not intended for smoking, heating or consumption.
- All hemp products are sold to adults aged 18 and over only.
UK regulation
Calm Leaf products are sold in line with the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and the Misuse of Drugs Regulations 2001, and our hemp tea is sold in line with current UK guidance. We do not make medicinal or health claims, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
